About us

The Film & Medienbüro Niedersachsen e.V. (FMB) was founded in Osnabrück in 1986 as an organisation co-ordinating and representing the interests of both film-makers in the province of Niedersachsen as well as people working the cultural media sector. Its goal is the improvement of the production infrastructure and conditions and the expansion of opportunties to screen these works in the region and worldwide. The FMB has approximately 175 members, representing the spectrum of media professionals in the province. The Film & Medienbüro Niedersachsen is presently responsible for: * Support services for film & television production in the region * Representing the interests of film-makers in the province of Niedersachsen * Establishing contacts with television, cinemas and distributors * Publishing the periodical RUNDBRIEF * Organising projects & events * Presentating films at festivals und film markets * Improving the media infrastructure in Niedersachsen The office of the Film & Medienbüro Niedersachsen is in Osnabrück.
