Doch der verheiratete Inselpolizist Robert Pfaff, mit dem sie eine Affäre hat, lässt sie nicht zur Ruhe kommen. Da werden plötzlich ihre Nachbarn ermordet. Sohn Mark findet die toten Eltern. Pfaffs Söhne, Freunde von Mark, werden verdächtigt. Immer öfter besucht Mark Luisa. Sie fühlt sich zu dem sonderbaren jungen Mann hingezogen. Zu spät bemerkt Luisa, dass sie in ein tödliches Spiel geraten ist. In her holiday cottage on an East-Frisian island the psychologist, Luisa, tries to get to grips with her personal crisis. But the married island policeman, Robert Pfaff, with whom she has an affair, doesn’t give her any rest. Then her island neighbours are suddenly murdered. Their son, Mark, is the first to discover his dead parents. Pfaff’s sons, who are friends of Mark, are suspected of committing the crime. Mark visits Luisa more and more frequently.
