Dokumentarfilm/documentary
Deutschland/Germany 1999/2000, 35 mm, 116 min. „Milk and Honey from Rotfont“ is about a small village in Kirgistan. The inhabitants are descendants of a religious group, the Mennonites, with roots in Northern Germany. They speak Low German, and the taste of their liver sausage is not the only characteristic reminiscent of their cultural origins.
